2024 Mt. Baker Vintage Trailer Rally

DATES: September 3-9, 2024
Answers to all your burning questions, FAQ's:
COST: *Camping Cost is $40/night and a one time $25 rally fee.
ARRIVAL: Absolute earliest you can arrive is 12 noon on Tuesday - PLEASE allow us time to get set up and prepared for your arrival.
DEPARTURE: If you choose to stay through Monday the 11th you MUST be hitched up and off the property by 10am.
PARKING: If you want to park next to someone you should plan to arrive together to ensure that happens. Please organize yourselves in a way that you can park, unload, unhitch and move your Modern tow vehicle to the designated parking area in a timely fashion. Vintage Tow vehicles can remain with your trailer. This is field style camping on grass. Picnic tables are delivered a couple times a day until they are gone. We have a few folks that help us tremendously during the rally and as the organizers we may have a couple spots roped off for them. We ask that you do not save spots.
WHO CAN ATTEND: Vintage Trailers, Campers, RV's ALL ARE WELCOME (See below)
NON-VINTAGE TRAILERS: We are going to remind you that this is VINTAGE TRAILER/RV/CAMPER RALLY, however we don’t want Vintage enthusiasts to miss out. All are welcome to attend. Modern trailers/RV/Campers will be asked to park in the designated area. If you have any question about this we are happy to clarify your specific trailer for you.
TENTS/CAR CAMPING: No Tents or Car Camping allowed at this event unless approved. *Same rates apply
POWER/WATER: The Fairgrounds has plenty of shared power and water hook ups with your extension cords and water splitters.
There is a designated place to wash your dishes in the BP building. Please don’t wash your dishes in the bathroom sinks!
BATHROOMS/SHOWERS: There are plenty of bathrooms and showers in the Fairgrounds. You will be given a map in your welcome bag when you arrive showing you where those are located.
DOGS: Your dog must be leashed at all times, Your dog must be courteous to your camping neighbors (no one wants to hear a dog barking all day), You MUST immediately pick up after your pets,
Note: We pay extra for our insurance to allow you to bring your fur babies to this event. If you or your pet can not meet the criteria above then please consider other options so we all can enjoy this event.
FIRE PITS: Self contained propane fire pits only pending any burn restrictions.
SELLING OF A TRAILER: You can place a “For Sale” sign in your trailer you certain have that option. We also have a designated spot for FOR SALE only trailers to park if you are NOT camping. *Same rates apply.
EVENTS and HAPPENINGS THROUGHOUT THE RALLY:
THEME: Mid Century Modern - Decorate your trailers and yourselves if you choose.
Tentative events/happenings:
CORN HOLE: Tournament with prizes! ! Get your team together or if solo we will pair you with someone.
BBQ: Join us for a BBQ and all the fixins till they're gone.
MOVIE NIGHT: We provide the popcorn & licorice. You bring your chairs.
KAFTCANS & MIMOSAS MORNING: Join us for Morning Mimosas in your best Mid-Century Kaftcan.
ANNIVERSAY PARTY FOR JEREMY & RENE': We surprised everyone with a pop-up wedding at the Rally in 2019. So each year we get to celebrate with our favorite people. Hosted by campers: Tim & Staci and Storm & Babe.
YOGA: Bring a mat or a towel and come join us for Yoga in the Peoples Building. Taught by fellow camper Martha Ott.
ADULT CRAFT: To be determined
FRIDAY MEET & GREET EVENING TRAILER GLOW: Palm Springs vibe Trailer Crawl. Dress up in your MCM attire and walk the trailers. Some well-marked trailers will have a nosh, nibble, photo souvenir, non-alcoholic beverage or something else to offer. Light up your trailers! Let René know if you'd like to Host something at your trailer by emailing her @ downriver11@yahoo.com
SATURDAY SWAP MEET / SELLING OF THE “STUFF”: 8-11:00am This will be held in the Expo Hall.
Tables: There will be tables available in the Expo Hall for you to set up AND PUT AWAY
Set up: Yes, you can start setting up your goodies on Friday night. There will not be anyone "babysitting" this all night so do so at your own risk. This is like a garage sale of your trailer parts, vintage wares, or whatever you think others might like. *no special licenses are required to sell
Yes, you can continue to sell outside of your trailer during "open house" but please keep your footprint small.
SATURDAY PUBLIC OPEN HOUSE: 12-3:00 (optional if you want to open your doors or not - open/closed signs provided). Free to the public to attend. Classic Vehicles have been invited to attend the Open House event. *NO DRIVING IN THE TRAILER AREA DURING THIS TIME
SATURDAY FOOD TRUCKS: 12-3:00
SATURDAY VINTAGE VEHCLE CRUISE: 3:00pm Assemble for a lap through the Fairgrounds and through downtown Lynden.
SATURDAY TRAILER TRASH BOWLING: 7:00pm Adults and kids come knock down real bowling pins with real bowling balls. Bowling medals and prizes given out. As always music and street dance to follow.
SUNDAY FAREWELL BREAKFAST: 7-10:00am Grab and go breakfast provided for you before you hit the road.
COFFEE: We will offer coffee each morning at Registration area.
