2021 Mt. Baker Vintage Trailer Rally

LOCATION: Northwest Washington Fair and Event Center 1775 Front Street Lynden, WA 98264
DATES: September 7-September 13, 2021
Yes, we are the Washington State TCT Reps, but this is NOT a TCT event. You do not have to pay TCT dues to attend.
-Absolute earliest you can arrive is 12 noon on Tuesday - PLEASE allow us time to get set up and prepared for your arrival.
-Trailer camping Cost is $35/night and a one time $15 rally fee. YOU REGISTER WHEN YOU ARRIVE
-We have a few folks that help us tremendously during the rally and as the organizers we may have a couple spots roped off for them. We ask that you do not save spots. If you want to park next to someone you should plan to arrive together to ensure that happens.
NON-VINTAGE TRAILERS: We are going to remind you that this is VINTAGE TRAILER RALLY, however we don’t want Vintage trailer lovers to miss out because your trailer is being restored, repaired or you just couldn’t get it there for any reason. We also have a category called “Vintage-in-spirit” Those are trailers that are new but look vintage. If you have any question about this we are happy to clarify your specific trailer for you.
POWER/WATER: The Fairgrounds will have Power spider boxes placed throughout the fields and there are several water hook ups as well. Best if you bring extension cords and water splitters to share power and water on site. There is a place to wash your dishes. Please don’t wash your dishes in the bathroom sinks.
BATHROOMS/SHOWERS: There are 3+ buildings with bathrooms and showers. There are several showers to share and you will be given a map in your welcome bag when you arrive showing you where those are located.
DOGS: Your dog must be leashed at all times, Your dog must be courteous to your camping neighbors (no one wants to hear a dog barking all day), You MUST immediately pick up after your pets,
Note: We pay extra for our insurance to allow you to bring your fur babies to this event. If you or your pet can not meet the criteria above then please consider other options so we all can enjoy this event.
FIRE PITS: Self contained propane fire pits only.
SELLING OF A TRAILER: You can place a “For Sale” sign in your trailer you certain have that option. If you want to sell your trailer and wont be sleeping in it we will have a designated area to park and leave your trailer. You will need to pay the $15 rally fee.
EVENTS and HAPPENINGS THROUGHOUT THE RALLY:
COVID Concerns: All activities are tentative and subject to change as the health and well being of our Vintage Trailer Community is the first and most important priority. We will abide by what standards are set for Whatcom County come September 2021.
THEME: Roaring 20’s
MOVIE NIGHT: We will be showing a movie at dusk on Thursday. We provide the popcorn and licorice and you bring your own chair.
EVENING TRAILER GLOW: Friday evening we will have a Participant only "open house". Come walk the trailers dressed in your best 1920's Attire. Some trailers will be offering Prohibition Cocktails or snacks and will be clearly marked.
TRAILER TRASH BOWLING : Adults and kids come knock down real pins with a real bowling ball and win a trophy! The Babcocks have generously agreed to hold this - Covid willing.
ADULT CRAFT: Details to be Determined
BIKE & PET PARADE: or scooter, skateboard, wagon, hairdryer flyer, etc. Come in your PJ’s, robes, curlers for a cruise around the resort for this Friday morning parade.
PHOTO BOOTH: Friday evening. Campers Mike & Kathy Gramann have generously offered to bring their photo booth equipment again this year.
SWAP MEET / SELLING OF THE “STUFF”: We will have a Swap Meet Saturday morning from 8-11am. This will be held in the Expo Building.
OPEN HOUSE: Saturday from 12-4 , May potentially be a "drive-thru" open house ONLY.
COFFEE: We will offer coffee each morning at Registration. If allowed.
FAREWELL BREAKFAST: Sunday morning we will provide you with a grab and go Breakfast for the road so you don’t have to cook or do dishes while you’re packing up. Come and enjoy a quick lite breakfast as our Thank You to you!
SWAG: You can order and pay for your swag when you register. I will have it for you when you arrive.
